stays local.
The desktop application
RenditionProof performs its supported checks locally. It does not upload source media or edit source media. Reports, caches, preferences, recovery drafts and runtime logs are stored on your computer.
Reports and runtime logs can contain full local paths, filenames and delivery metadata. Review these before sharing them. Runtime log segments rotate and have bounded retention. The separately exported diagnostics ZIP uses a strict content allowlist and redacts sensitive paths; it does not include media or raw runtime logs.
This download website
This static website does not ask for an account, accept media uploads, or include third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and network providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses, timestamps and browser headers to serve pages and downloads. The application’s offline behavior does not imply that visiting this website is anonymous.
Your choices
You decide which inputs to inspect, where to save reports, and what to share with other people. Removing the portable application does not automatically remove your local reports, preferences or logs.
